Explore the highlights of the city through the most characteristic and important places for the history of Venice like Piazza San Marco and discover origins, history and description of the main monuments: Basilica San Marco, Palazzo Ducale, Bell Tower, Clock Tower and Procuratie. An unforgettable tour not to be missed!

Bacaro Tour - Venetian Happy Hour - Private Tour 

This tour of Venice wine bars (known as a “bacaro”) will take us to the heart of popular traditions in order to really experience and taste the authentic Venetian lifestyle. Starting in Campo San Bartolomeo (near the statue of Carlo Goldoni), we will stroll to Campo San Lio to taste an “ombra” (small glass) of Cabernet wine along with two “cicchetti” (typical Venetian tapas). We’ll proceed to another bacaro, where we’ll try a Pinot Grigio and other kinds of cicchetti. Crossing the Rialto Bridge over the Grand Canal, we’ll reach the third bacaro, where we will finally taste a glass of Prosecco and two more cicchetti. Our last bacaro will be in Campo San Luca, where we will taste one more glass of wine and the last two cicchetti. The tour ends in the Rialto area, the very heart and soul of Venice.

Day 3 – Venice/Florence

Day 4 – Florence

Learn about the Medici: masters of Florence. During this walk, you will see Piazza della Signoria with the town hall Palazzo Vecchio, the Duomo, the Baptistery with its Gates of Paradise, Giotto's independent bell tower, Brunelleschi's Dome, Santa Trinita and Orsanmichele Church, Pontevecchio Bridge and the secret Vasari Corridor, as well as famous shopping streets and the Oltrarno – the fourth and last district, the manual crafts neighborhood (exterior visits only). Also, stop for a surprise tasting a nice and delicious break during your pleasant walk. You will then enter the Accademia Gallery museum with a fast-track priority entrance ticket and discover the original Michelangelo's masterpiece that has become the symbol of Renaissance splendor: The David.

Admire it from every perspective, gaze in awe at David, that dominates the central gallery of the museum.

Day 5 – Siena and San Gimignano

VIP Siena & San Gimignano With Dinner

Enjoy this small group tour which will let you discover the beauties of Siena, San Gimignano and the Chianti countryside, before admiring the sunset on the Tuscan hills and tasting a typical dinner in a fascinating location.

 In the ancient times, there was only one city in Tuscany that competed against Florence for power, wealth and artistic beauties: Siena.
Starting from Florence, you will be taken to Siena by a comfortable air-conditioned minivan by an English speaking driver and tour leader.
Here you will enjoy a guided walking tour of this compact city that will let you discover also Piazza del Campo, the main central square where the famous Palio horse race takes place every year, as well as exploring quieter backstreets and learning everything about the Contrade, the 17 medieval city districts that compete against each other in the Palio. During the visit in Siena you will also have the opportunity to have a surprise tasting of a typical product.
The journey continues to San Gimignano, famed for its medieval skyscrapers, high walls and narrow streets that typify most people’s image of a Tuscan hill town. San Gimignano is unique in the preservation of about a dozen of its tower houses, which, with its hilltop setting and encircling walls, form an unforgettable skyline.
After some free time in San Gimignano, gaze in awe at a marvelous sunset on the Tuscan hills and then enjoy a typical Tuscan dinner in the cellar of a fascinating noble Villa in the Chianti countryside. During your dinner you will also enjoy a wine tasting, pairing different wines with the various courses of your Tuscan meal.
You will then be taken back to Florence in the comfort of the minivan and, time permitting, you will end this beautiful day with a stop at Piazzale Michelangelo belvedere, for a breathtaking view of Florence, admiring all the lights of the city.

Day 6 – Florence/Rome

Highlights of Rome - Private Tour

You will be picked up at your hotel by a car with an English-speaking driver and tour guide ready to take you around town however you see fit. On the way to the Spanish Steps and the Borghese Gardens, the guide will point out important sights of this vibrant metropolis. Let the Eternal City enchant you as you stroll through its picturesque cobblestone alleyways and discover some of the world's most famous attractions, including the Trevi Fountain, a baroque jewel, and the Pantheon, originally a pagan temple, which we will also enter. Next, you will visit Piazza Navona, built on the ruins of the Domitian's Circus, and then you will have the chance to admire Castel Sant'Angelo. Day 7 – Rome

Ancient Rome: Colosseum, Palatine Hill & Roman Forum Tour

ITINERARY

This tour is a chance to visit the 3 sites of the Colosseum’s Archaeological Park with a licensed guide.

Also known as the Flavian Amphitheatre, the Colosseum is one of the most famous monuments in the world. Opened with a solemn inauguration that lasted 100 days, it was used for gladiatorial fights and wild animal hunts. It had a capacity for more than 50.000 people and the ability to protect the spectators with a large awning called Velarium. It’s 2.000 years old but the Colosseum is still the symbol of the Eternal City.

The Palatine Hill, one of the seven hills of Rome, is considered “the first nucleus of the Roman Empire” because has been the location where Romulus and Remus were found by the she-wolf and where Rome has its origins. With the development of Rome, it became the most exclusive neighborhood where emperors and patrician families built opulent palaces and the site is now mainly a large open-air museum.

From the Palatine, the tour will across the Roman Forum, for centuries the center of Roman public and economic life, where the most important structures of the ancient city were located.

Day 8 – Rome

Vatican Museums Sistine Chapel & St. Peter’s Basilica Tour

ITINERARY

Your small group tour (max 15 people) begins at the Vatican Museums, with its immense art collection built up by the Popes throughout the centuries. The itinerary includes Pio Clementino Hall, Laocoon and Apollo Belvedere, Maps Gallery, Candelabra Gallery, Tapestries Gallery and one of the most celebrated masterpieces in the world: the Sistine Chapel, with the breathtaking frescoes by Michelangelo.

After exploring the Vatican Museums, the tour will continue directly and without line into St. Peter’s Basilica, the largest church in the world and symbol of the Catholic religion, where it will be possible to admire iconic masterpieces such as La Pietà by Michelangelo and the huge Baldacchino by Bernini.

The tour ends in the suggestive St. Peter’s Square, dominated by Michelangelo’s imposing Cupola and surrounded by the famous Bernini’s double Colonnade.

Day 8 – Rome - Castelli

The Roman Castles: Sightseeing and wine tasting

Just 30 minutes southeast of Rome, you’ll find a hillside cluster of gems known for art, culture, wine, food, and beautiful landscapes. The Castelli Romani have been beloved by Romans and visitors alike for centuries, and now it’s your turn to explore this lush area.

ITINERARY

Driving south-east of Rome, in only 30 minutes we will reach the Roman countryside known as the “Castelli Romani”, a most popular residential area in the surroundings of Rome, known by tourists for its art, culture, food and beautiful landscapes. We will drive through the countryside to enjoy a sighseeing tour of the area with few stops for picture and a lovely stroll through one of the small charming villages, then we will proceed to Frascati to reach one of the best vineyards of the roman countryside and enjoy a great wine tasting of the so famous local wine Frascati.

Day 9 – Rome/Sorrento

Private transfer from Rome hotel to train station. First class train from Rome to Naples. Private transfer from Naples to Sorrento. Check in at your hotel for 3 nights.

 

 Day 10 – Amalfi Coast

Amalfi coast and Tenuta San Francesco with wine tasting and lunch – Private tour

Pick up at your hotel by local tour guide and transportation to explore the Amalfi Coast and enjoy amazing views on the blue of the sea, the green of the Mediterranean maquis and the hues of citrus fruits spreading out over terraced cultivations that blend with the typical architecture in order to create one of the most beautiful itineraries in Italy. You can also enjoy a panoramic view of Furore, located a few miles away, is an authentic open-air contemporary art gallery, with typical fresco-painted houses, and small piazzas.

Then visit Amalfi, the town whose name blesses the entire coast. Dominated by the majestic Cathedral dedicated to Sant'Andrea (St. Andrew), Amalfi proffers innumerable testimonies of its glorious past as a Maritime Republic. Spend some time at leisure to visit Amalfi. Transfer to Tenuta San Francesco situated in Tramonti and visits to the historical pre-phylloxera vineyards (300-500 years old), the XVII century wine cellar and enjoy a lunch (appetizer, first course pasta dish, second course, cheese with salami, and homemade dessert), using country traditional products together with the “Tenuta San Francesco” owners and their families in the magic atmosphere that only a place like Tramonti can give.

During the meal, there will be a guided wine-tasting of 3 D.O.C reserve wines – Amalfi Coast. The tour lasts about 2 hours. In the afternoon continue to Ravello another pearl of the coast is Ravello, an elegant and refined village, dipped in green and characterized by luxurious villas. Ravello is famous all around the world for its Festival, in the garden of Villa Rufolo, where an evocative setting and the emotion of listening to great music create an experience of extraordinary intensity. In the late afternoon return to Positano.

Day 12  – Capri

Tour of Capri Island by boat  

Get to visit the stunning island of Capri on board of a typical Gozzo Sorrentino. Sail around the coast and spend free time at a leisurely pace! 

ITINERARY

Spend an amazing day discovering the island of Capri. During the boat trip you will sail around the Sorrentine Coast passing through Marciano, Mitigliano and Bagni regina Giovanna. Arriving in Capri, you will pass the lighthouse of Punta Carena, the imposing Faraglioni rocks, The Green and White Grottoes and the roman Villa of the Emperor Tiberio. Swim in the blue water of the Gulf or relax and sunbathe on board. 

Once landed in Capri you can spend your time as you wish: visiting Anacapri, stroll around the famous Piazzetta, do some shopping in Via camerelle or getting to visit the Blue Grotto.
